Simple but elegant best describes this triangular shawl.
Larger needles create a slightly open knit. Knit stitches along the bottom edge were later dropped to become fringe and beads are added to the fringe for a little sparkle. Seed stitch along the top edge provides stability and allows the knitted edge to lie flat.
Mary Gavan Quail is the yarn used for this shawl. Quail is a hand-dyed, 2-ply raw silk yarn with a generous 675 yards per skein. Included in the kit are Miyuki seed beads for the beaded fringe.
