Buttons – Who knew?

 Have you always wanted to know more about buttons? Have you family buttons about which you’ve been curious? Bring them to our workshop and create your own frame-worthy button masterpiece. Learn about the materials used, the history, the age, and all the different subjects on buttons that are beyond your imagination. Create a meaningful, personal, frameable  9″ by 12″ individual button design of 25 buttons, incuding your own precious treasures. Most materials provided.
Randi has been a serious button collector (therefore a buyer and seller) and a competitor for 24 years.. She has spoken to many groups across the Valley as well as conducting annual workshops at the State Button Show. She is a lifetime member of the National Button Society, contributes articles regularly to the Arizona State Button Society’s quarterly bulletin, and is an active member in the local East Valley Saguaro Button Club.

We are excited to bring to you the creative team of Betsy, the owner of Classic Elite Yarns, Susan, the Creative Director, and Heather, Director of Sales and Stephanie Steinhaus, Sales Rep for this special event.
 Be the first to preview the new yarns and designs for Spring 2017 on this very special day with the great creative team from Classic Elite!
You will have a wonderful opportunity to participate in a yarn tasting featuring the 3 new yarns for Spring along with 2 of their most popular yarns continuing into Spring 2017.  The yarns tasting kits will be limited, and there will be a cost of $5 per person to participate.

We will also have door prizes, and a book signing featuring the Shawls, Wraps and Scarves book.
This book features 20 ideas for shawls, wraps and scarves, each one done three different ways, which equals endless possibilities.

Beginning Weaving Workshop with Sonora Handmade

This is a great introduction to Lap Loom weaving! If you have ever wanted to explore weaving, this is the perfect workshop for you! Participants will get all the supplies needed to create their first woven wall hanging AND you get to take all the supplies home. This includes a gorgeous acrylic lap loom, weaving comb, needle, shuttle, and pickup stick. This also includes the yarn to get your project started!
