Vacation Motivation!

We are going to provide the motivation to complete your projects this Summer!
We have had several entries already!
We have helped many of you select that perfect project (or projects) for your Summer knitting.  Now we are going to motivate you to get them done!
For every project that you complete between now and October 1, 2017 we will enter your name into a drawing for a $50 Jessica Knits gift certificate.  We will be giving away four $50 gift certificates!
To qualify to be entered for the drawing you must email us a picture of your completed project along with the specifics of which yarn and pattern was used to  Your project must be made with yarn purchased at Jessica Knits.  We will share your photo and specifics on our Facebook page and then enter your name in the drawing.  The more projects you complete, the better your chances are to win!

Sock Yarn Scarf Shuffle!

We are having so much fun this summer playing “Sock Yarn Scarf Shuffle!”  You can still join even if you haven’t previously participated.
Come and have fun with us!
You will need approximately 1800 yds. of sock or fingering weight yarn in at least 7 different colors or more and one main color.  You will also needle a US 6 needle either straight or circular.
At Jessica Knits, we have gradients, mini-skeins, and lots of other sock yarn options for your randomly striped scarf. $5.00 reserves your spot for snacks, fun, frivolity, and knitting! Call and get your name on this list, space is limited!

We are kicking off the Fall Trunk Show series with Cables With a Twist.  Six new designs feature some of your favorite Classic Elite Yarn. Here are a couple of our favorites!
This beautiful cable pullover uses Adelaide, a100% pure merino with a distinctive twist. In twelve heathered colors, Adelaide is sure to become your new favorite go-to worsted weight yarn.

This traditional Aran cable pullover is done in Liberty Wool.   Liberty Wool is a super-soft, washable wool available in solid and printed colors. This yarn’s balanced twist will make the stitch combinations in this pattern pop.

Veronica from Dream in Color yarn will be here from 10:00 to 3:00 with a fabulous selection of some of your favorite Dream in Color yarns, including Smooshy with Cashmere, Jilly with Cashmere and Cosette. She will also have a special selection of Smooshy with Cashmere Petites to help you choose just the right color palette for your Koi Pond!
Arrive early for the best selection and to give us time to wind your yarn for the KAL.
Koi Pond is a boomerang-shaped shawl that uses a combination of knot stitches couched in cushy garter stitch, then finish up with a wavy lace border.

Trunk Show

Escape is a new yarn for fall that combines fine merino (20 microns), mulberry silk and yak in a single ply of pure luxury. The six sophisticated shades of this DK weight have a slight heathered look from the darker undyed yak fibers.  In this, its debut collection, Escape offers six new designs, three of which are highlighted here.
Rigby by Tian Foley
A classic round neck cardigan covered in eyelet filled cables. A ribbed panel defines the waist and the sleeve cuffs feature a bell shape.
Ingram by Susan Mills
A simple tee shape with a fitted sleeve that can be dressed up or down, Ingram is worked in pieces and seamed. In Stockinette stitch with Seed stitch borders, the foldover neck ends in a soft bow tied to one side.
Pettigrew by Susan Mills
This two color crescent shaped wrap is worked sideways in three sections. First short rows are worked in garter rib, then a section of two row stripes in garter stitch leads into the eyelet garter edge worked sideways.
