Classic Elite Yarns

Wildwood/Mountain Top
Trunk Show
10/6 – 10/24

Classic Elite’s newest collection — Wildwood & Mountaintop — features our newest yarn Wildwood. It’s 262 yards of fluffy undyed wool. One thick and thin, gently spun ply is wrapped with a second, thinner ply in a different undyed shade. This makes for a unique and fun to knit yarn on a variety of needle sizes.

Their talented in-house design team of Susan Mills, Tonia Barry, Tian Foley and guest designer Lillian May have curated the best yarns in the Mountaintop Collection including Blackthorn, Crestone, Vail and Mohawk Wool and used them along with Wildwood in this new book.  Whether you love accessories or garments, you’ve plenty to choose from here.

The Wiley hat with simple fair isle is actually a double thick hat with surprise stripes on the “other” hat. Kinsman marries the comfy boyfriend sweater with a hunting lodge-meets-Christmas sweater (reindeer motif included).
You’ve got cables to work out in Skylight, fashion forward looks in Marcy and Colvin, gradient colorwork to play with in Mendon and Hale, or simple knitting and easy wear in Wittenberg, Halcott and Bigelow. Truly something for everyone.

Desert Bloom Yarns

Trunk Show & Sale
Saturday, October 22nd
10:00 – 4:00

Tiffany Goettl has been hand dying yarns for about 3+ years now. It has taken some practice to get her techniques figured out and to be able to achieve the rich saturated colors she is known for. Tiffany loves all yarn colors but found that when she knit sweaters she wanted a more overall, beautiful, saturated color with slight hand dyed effects rather than the variegated or striped look (although they are gorgeous too!). So, that is what Tiffany strives for at Desert Bloom Yarns.

We are committed at Jessica Knits to continue to promote our local artists and we are excited about what Tiffany from Desert Bloom Yarns has to offer our customers here at Jessica Knits.  Make sure to stop by and check out the gorgeous bases and colors that make Desert Bloom Yarns so intriguing!

Tahki Stacy Charles
2016 Collection
Trunk Show
10/27 – 11/14
Thursday, October 27th – November 14th

The Tahki Stacy Charles Seasonal Trunk Show Collections are always highly anticipated here at Jessica Knits.  The designs are always beautiful and on-trend.  The Fall/Winter 2016 collection will not disappoint!

Stacy Charles has created another brilliant collection of modern, fashionable knits. The styles are informed by the variety of silhouettes, fabrics and colors presented for the season by the world’s leading fashion runway collections, and have been adapted for today’s sophisticated knitter. The diversity of looks reflects the amalgam of distinctive neighborhoods in NYC’s borough of Manhattan, which influences everything they create. The 16 designs in URBAN KNITS include tops, pullovers, a cardigan, wraps and accessories to enhance your wardrobe for the season.

This new design collection was developed to reintroduce the eco-friendly Terra line of yarn by Tahki Yarns. The colors and textures of Nature are expressed through the soft, comfy, chunky knits that comprise the collection. Here is an opportunity to use environmentally-conscious, natural fiber yarns that are fun to knit with and a delight to wear. The relaxed and casual styles include a tabard, a vest, a cardigan, a poncho, plus wraps, cowls, hats and scarves in the 10-piece OH, NATURAL! Collection.
Presenting a new collection of traditional knits for today’s knitters. The Tahki Yarns legacy of classic, high-quality yarns is interpreted in KNIT COUNTRY – a 15-design collection inspired by knitting techniques and traditions from around the world. The casual, comfortable signature Tahki style is at once modern and timeless, so you can create go-to wardrobe pieces that you’ll treasure for years to come. You’ll find authentic wearable styles including pullovers, vests, jackets, wraps, a poncho and loads of accessories.
